The Diet Solution Program promises what every Diet Solution promises - weight loss etc etc.
With so many weight loss programs out on the market and on the internet today, what makes this program any different than all the rest?
Before we get to the program, the program was developed by a lady called Isabel De Los Rios is a nutrition and exercise specialist who helps people reach their weight goals and tackle conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol. The Diet Solution Program is a result of her own 15 year study and research from her own weight issues and her mothers illnesses.
Besides weight loss - it's also supposed to be good for "diabetics, it decreases sugar levels, lowers cholesterol, increases energy, eliminates digestive discomfort and cleared skin conditions are just some of the few benefits other people have already experienced." This is what the website says.
Because it's my job to test diets - I tried the program myself as I had some nagging winter kilos that weren't moving. Well the results were both good and bad. Good in that I lost the weight that I was struggling to shift and felt quite energectic. Bad - was I felt that I lost too much weight in one go - which would be fine on a bigger frame - but I ended up looking anorexic - even though I felt alot of vitality and healthy. I wasn't exactly skin and bone - but I was losing body fat too fast. I tweaked this by eating more healthy "fats" and it was fine. Someone mentioned that my metabolism got a wake up call and all the energy I had was allowing me to burn the food off resulting in me getting too thin - so I changed it up a bit by also not excercising during the initial "detox phase" as this is when you lose about 6 kgs. I lost about 5kgs in just under 2 weeks- which on my frame was too much in such a quick period of time. Some people have lost more who stayed on it for longer.
Yes, I want to be at my ideal weight but I also want to maintain a healthy body at the same time and not have to resort to extreme, radical methods. The Diet Solution Program helped me lose weight and feel healthy and energized at the same time. I am now finally at what I consider my healthy weight. The best thing about this is not that I lost weight - but that the information is so stuck in my head that I don't think I'd gain weight again even if I tried.
That's my two cents - of course you have to try things for yourself and make up your own mind as all things don't work for all people.
